Friday's are lots of fun. We have our school wide assembly in the morning, we get to go to the library, we have Flashlight Friday, and we do fun cutting art activities!
What is Flashlight Friday, you ask? Every day we have some time where we read to self (independent reading time) and read to someone as part of our Daily 5 literacy stations. On Fridays, we turn off all the lights and close the blinds to make it as dark as we can in the classroom and the kids read with their flashlights! They love it!
