We've been practicing "read to self" as part of our literacy Daily 5. We've talked about and modeled how to read the pictures, read the words, and retell a story they already know. Gabriel modeled for our class today on the document camera how to read the pictures. He even practiced pointing to the words just like great readers do while he read the pictures. Great job Gabriel!
